Wow. Um. So. I read this in less than 24 hours, it was really compelling for me. The author was so real and raw and honest about his thoughts and feelings and struggles with food and eating and weight and life that in reading this, it seemed like he was someone I knew, or someone I would want to know. Someone that reminded me of myself. (Except that I am obviously less successful in my career.) I want to know what happens next, what is going on now that Mr. Bruni is no longer the NYT food critic? Obviously he becomes an opinion columnist at work, but what about personally?
