A mystery set in the far north Artic. That was the fascinating part of the book - seeing life through the eyes of the Inuit and realizing that people actually live where -16 degrees or so is considered a warm day and where travel is controlled by the weather and what water is frozen over. Also, where building an ice hut for survival is standard procedure when traveling. Lots of insights into life way up North. Cons: lots of profanity, particularly at the beginning.
