Oh I had forgotten Regeneration! I read it several years ago and loved it. I got very in to Sassoon for a while after that, though I think Wilfred Owen was probably, well, if not the better poet certainly the more heart-breaking poet.
My husband is a big fan of Robert Graves, who doesn't come off so well in the novel. As it happens, I have one of Graves's few war poems on my blog today.
