really liked it
bookshelves: own-printed-copy, read-in-2016, classics-challenge-2016
Read from April 09 to 10, 2016

I remembered reading this at school and rated it 5 stars based on that and had it down as one of my all time favourite dystopians.
After a re-read in April 2016 my new rating is 4 stars. Still a strong book but like with Nineteen Eighty-Four I didn't find myself enjoying it as much. Particularly the treatment of women.
I do think BNW is more balanced and presents neither way of life as perfect.
Very relevant still to our daily lives and makes me question things more.
