Some people don't like Diana Palmer because they say she writes her females as too wimpy or with little or no backbone. Well, I'm here to introduce you to Morie Branntt (sp?). Not only has she got a backbone, but she's got a stubborn temper to boot! And, she's been put "here" to torment her boss!

Morie also has a very overprotective family (father, mother and older brother). They don't want her to lift a finger in life -- she was raised to be a lady. Therefore, at 23, she strikes out on her own, landing a job as a cowgirl in Wyoming (she's originally from south Texas). She does a lot of things and definitely gets her hands duty -- and Palmer does an excellent job of describing these tasks in detail.

Overall, great characters and great chemistry all around!
