I enjoyed this book. It was good. I think I'll read the next one when it comes out, but I can wait. Rothfuss is a good storyteller and he's created a highly detailed world. No major flaws there. I know this is just one part of a trilogy, but there still needed to be more denouement and closure. It felt very truncated. Then again, I don't think I could have read more than these 650+ pages. Good. Not great.

Blue Meanie that's pretty much what I thought.

Blue Meanie Update (March 31, 2011): Almost done and it is even better than I remembered. I can hardly wait to read the sequel.

But to be fair, it doesn't even approach, not even close, something like Lord of the Rings. I can't imagine there being a fair comparison there.
