I liked this book and have been wanting to read it for a while. It was depressing though and from the beginning, I knew that it was going to be a frustrating read.
It was beautifully written. Lots of big descriptive words. I wonder if 12 years old were really that smart then? She had a terrific vocabulary... Hmmmm.
