This book would be great with EYFS or Key Stage One, especially for circle time. The book tells the story of Ernest who is a rather large moose. Ernest can not fit on the pages of the book, which is clearly illustrated. Ernest tries and tries to fit on the pages, he uses different techniques to fit on the pages, but fails. However his small friend comes to help and they both make an extra large page to fit in the book. Finally Ernest fits on a page in the book and solves his problem.

The book sends a message to the reader of being determined and never giving up, but also the importance of teamwork.
