You would normally think by the third book in The Lost Fleet series that one would begin to tire of the plot and the characters. Not in my case. Hemry, writing under Jack Campbell, continues to exploit the overriding plot of the last holdouts for Earth succeeding in a running battle, out numbered and generally out gunned, barely staying ahead of the enemy. Every jump into a new galaxy is a calculated gamble, that could portend extended life, or doom for their commander "Blackjack" John Geary and his stalwart band of loyalists.
