Read in October, 2011

This was the second in Connelly's Harry Bosch series and an early illustration of why the character has become so popular. Harry is a rebel who definitely marches to his own drummer and gets the job done.

Mark Stevens I missed this one and need to go back and read it. Bosch is amazing -- and I love the way Connelly lets him think about the case (and allows us to see the thought process).


J.R. Somehow I had missed it, too. Picked it up on Kindle. And I agree with your comment. Few are as skilled in giving insight to the character's thought process.
