I think that just about every person should read The Principle of the Path. It has a very informal, almost conversational style, and is easy to get through. You will probably not be blown away by deeply profound truths, but the concepts Stanley lays out should be heard and applied by anyone and everyone. It doesn't get much more practical than this.

Like just about every Christian writer, Stanley has a tendency to repeat himself or to over embellish. For me, this just comes with the territory of reading these types of books. I think Stanley does a good job of pulling principles from Scripture while also sharing personal anecdotes.
