I rec'd this book in a giveaway because of my interest in Jane Austen fanfiction. With trepidation, I parted its covers as I am unfamiliar with the rock scene.
The trepidation left me as I read. It was a really good read and satisfying with what was done. Seeing familiar names and their personalities dropped into this new world was an incredible experience. I laughed, rolled my eyes, and sighed tenderly- particularly that first time Darcy played for Elizabeth. The author did a good job with this modern telling. Though for the life of me, I still cannot see Jane as a lead singer or Col. Fitzwilliam with that personality. Too funny!
Well written and the rock scene background seemed real to me.
Look forward to more from this author.
