Its one of the best books I have read. Not that I have read too many.Nevertheless, i would still like to share my opinion of the book. There are so many aspects that I really liked about this one. I am touched by Hassan's innocent, undoubting faith in his best friend Amir. 'A thousand times over for you'...is one of the most stirring lines of the book.

I had a lot of expectations of this book and had waited quite a long time to get it. Khaled Husseini's work has always been very poignant. Even though this book, might have a certain melancholic air to it, it still is worth reading.
