It's the second in the Genesis of Shannara series. But I'm not going to recommend it right now. The third book is not due out until August 2008, and I am absolutely left hanging. I really hate reading series while they're being written, but I also can't help myself. An amazing series so far, definitely read it when the third one comes out.
