It's not bad; did have me getting a bit teary-eyed here and there.

My main problems are probably that I just found the everyday aspects told within the book to be somewhat dull. In the format "everyday life, character/relationship-building, BAM something tragic, and finally the results and dealing of said tragedy", that everyday life aspect is pretty important. Sure, it did a fine job in the character and relationship-building aspect, but a lot of the events during that just weren't all that entertaining enough to keep my mind from completely wandering. Not unbearable, but other books have definitely done it better.
