The story is taking about Emily, half girl, half mermaid receives a mission from the king of the sea Neptune, who sends them all back to Bright port, their hometown. After they go back to the Brightport, she realizes that everyone who lives in this town forgets who are they, even thought Emily’s best friends, Mandy who she ever made during the time that she stayed in the human area. As the Neptune uses his own power to force the people to drink the drug which will erase the memories of the people who live in Brightpot. However, Emily is assigned to a school where only provide for the mermaid, but she hates the school and no longer she quits the school. In one time, she sees the newspaper which post her feature on it. Therefore, she tries to leave to the Brightport because she does not want to catch by the people. During the escaping, she drops down into the waterfalls and figures out the lost sirens are living in there. However, the siren’s story becomes links to her own problems. In the meantime, Emily remembers that she and Aaron has a special power which can break Neptune’s curse. The sirens want to through her and Aaron’s power to lead them leave the waterfall.
The part that I like :
"A moment later, the onlooker would have seen them part, each disappearing behind the hills and mountains of the raging sea. Then the onlooker would have wondered if they'd imagined the whole thing, because surely no one would go out on a night like this." I thinks Emily and Aaron are going to fight with the Neptune
