To understate things wildly, I do not have a scientific cast of mind, but I've always wanted to read an explanation of the new physics and how it relates to Eastern thought. So I finally settled on this book, by the man who later wrote The Seat of the Soul. I honestly didn't understand most of what I read in this book--sometimes I was just passing my eyes over the words--but I nevertheless found it fascinating, because it so much does reflect things in spiritual practice, and my own view of the way things are. I think I understand all this better when I read Eastern thought. But the convergence of these two systems seems remarkable to me. It is surprising enough what the new physicists have discovered and seen. But what's really incredible is how the ancient Buddhists and Hindus knew the same things, with no experiments at all. They just looked into themselves.
