An excellent sequel that answered a few question from the first book Airhead but not too many as to turn you away from reading the last book in the series, Runaway. There wasn’t a great deal of character development, but I did like Lulu for her comic relief.

The relationship between the protagonist Emerson Watts and her former best friend and now romantic interest took a little too long to develop for my liking but I was glad when it finally did, although I really disliked the twist at the end which tore them apart. As a character Em was okay, but I would rave about her.

Although this book has that Meg Cabot touch that I adore and the writing is excellent as usual, this book just didn’t grab me as much as some of her other works. Up until the end I had no intention of reading the last book in the series Runaway, but once the twists at the end came to life it changed my mind and I’m intrigued to see how the story ends.
