I recall reading this as a student. It would have been a new book at that time. The thing that struck me was the length of the chapters. Some were just a paragraph in length. For some reason that fascinated me.

I have read this with some of my reading groups over the years. More recently I have shunned it, however. Despite the 3.5 reading level, I find this a difficult read with students. I think the amount of dialogue used is confusing for readers. I also recall that the last time I read this students struggled with the concept of some of the subject matter. Perhaps it was dated language or not understanding the wager, but it was a struggle for students to infer anything since the concepts were foreign.

The above is not a reason not to read the book, just caution if you should use it with students.
