I really enjoyed the first two books in this series. They were a little rough, but Gleason's command of plot and characters overrode that. The Bleeding Dusk, however, is even rougher in writing style, and the plot is exciting but not always very well-managed. However, the book is an enjoyable read and perfect for summertime.
