This book, about a girl who committed suicide and left audio tapes behind for her ex-friends and aquaintences, was slightly disappointing. The concept was great but it fell a little short for me. I enjoyed the flip flopping perspectives. Clay seemed like a real guy, and the audio tapes contained some interesting back stories.

For middle schoolers: YES!!! I would definitely recommend this for boys and girls in grade 8. The vocabulary and narration were a little challenging but the story is good. Go for it.
