The last few pages of this book was what catapulted it to one of the best books i have read in recent times..... The ending without a doubt is so compelling that is paints an unforgettable experience in your mind..... Yes an experience as it is described with such clarity that you find yourself tumbling through the rubble as the world crumbles in a haze of stones and the one power...... Once the dust settles you are left with a feeling of profound satisfaction..... to have witnessed such an epic climax....... The other parts of the book are quite engaging too.... foremost being the part in Aiel city (Rhueidin) where Rand discovers the true past of the Aiel...... Mat takes few souvenirs from the place that shall prove vital in the coming events and make his character enticing..... but surely the limelight is cast upon Rand as he returns with his both hands branded with the crimson and gold serpentine creatures known as the dragon.... The Aiel watch in wonder as the dragon reborn returns at dawn thus fulfilling the Aiel prophecy "HE WHO COMES WITH THE DAWN".
