When introverted secretary Eleanor Perrie realizes that her boss Curry Matherson, will marry his girlfriend, her world falls apart. For three years she has loved the brutal man, but he has only seen her as his secretary who jumps at his beck and call. When she finally lets her hair down and Curry notices her,it is not the reaction she had hoped for, he wants her but doesn't want a commitment to her and her rejection has him spinning on his heels and reacting like an ass.

Of ccourse it is Diana Palmer book so there is the cruel alpha male, there were moments when he was just down right mean. It was good, but he was a bit much at times.
