it was amazing

This book has everything a fantasy fan could want! Even just reading the back of the book before I bought it gave me tingles of anticipation! A white bear comes to Rose's door and asks if she will accompany him on a long journey? Hell yes, I'm in! *laughs* This book has a little bit of everything; romance, drama, mystery, and magic. Plus, I seem to be a sucker for the heroine falling in love with the 'man-turned-beast' character. I usually have read stories where the said character is a wolf, so it was actually refreshing to read about a polar bear. I really liked that aspect of it! The really interesting thing about this story is that it isn't told from any one persons point of view. The point of view goes back and forth between Rose, her father, her brother Neddy, the White Bear, and the Troll Queen. I really liked that, it was quite different. In any case, this is definately a book that is going on my 'classics' shelf because I know I will read it over and over again! If you really like light-hearted fantasy books, where true love triumphs over all, you will love this book!
