starting on a secluded Caribean island for 3 weeks, with sexy anchorwoman terese Collins - they met, they felt each other's pain, they bowed out of life for the island, together they eat and have sex, the rest of the time, the separate and walk or sunbathe. until win shows up - Esperanza is going to arrested for the death of Clu Haid - Win's first client, baseball pitcher who screws up regularly with drugs, with women, and cycles of being with his wife Bonnie, kicked out, returns. he's getting a last chance with Sophie Mayor, owner of the NY Yankees... and he is making it work...

But when Myron is away, All hell breaks out... and Myron and Win (with help from Big Cyndi) untwist the cords. Esperanze is protecting Myron and will not tell him anything...

Sophie Mayor is behind it all -her 18 year old daughter, Lucy, left home 15 years earlier and was never heard from again... at the time, Sophie & husband were average scientists, but became rich with the sale of a patent - and now she has lots of money. and Clu just before starting with the big leagues, was in a car with his future wife, another baseball player, and Lucy - and they are drinking, and Clu runs off the road and into a tree, killing Lucy - and they bury her body, knowing that their carreers would be over if anyone found out Myron, as his agent, and since no one was hurt, buys off the investigator.

15 years later, at Clu's buddy from the car is in rehab, and is encouraged to confess your sin to the one you sinned against to make amends - so Sophie learns to truth about her daughter, and she wants revenge - so she sets up Clu on her team, and then orchestrates his have a blood test howing drugs, then when he commits suicide, she stage it to look like Myron killed Clu (blood in Myron's car, the gun found in his office, etc.) but Myron is out of the country, and Esperanza has become friends and lovers with Clu's wife Bonnie (hence pubic hair in the haid's bed), and is the one arrested with the clues planted to get Myron... And it ended up Clu committed suicide, and Sophie made it look like murder, but she turned in the evidence showing it was suicide - including a very loving note to Clu's wife and children - and gets esperanza freed - and gets away with all the rest.

and Terese shows up, Myron spends the night with her, confiding all of his secrets - and realizes that Terese is hiding some deep sadness... and they make plans to meet the following week - a long distance relationship.
