** spoiler alert ** Decent. A divorced soccer coach dad becomes the victim of an internet frameup to make him look like a child porn distributor who's having an affair with a player. His ex-wife is murdered, he's trying to build a better relationship with his estranged daughter, Jill, and the time he inadvertently smuggled heroin for his wife when he was a Navy SEAL is coming back to haunt him. Turns out Adriana Boyd is framing him because her remaining son is doing the porn distributing (her other son died of drugs). Her husband is in on things because he wants the heroin back. Neither knows of the other one's role. His attorney friend Marvin Pressman is murdered in the book, his ex-wife was murdered when Kip Lange, Adriana's husband's partner, comes looking for the heroin, and Jill's friend Lindsay is kidnapped and repeatedly raped. The mc's name is cleared, and he's hot and heavy with Rainy, the FBI agent, by the end. The romance part was bad. The part's from Rainy's pov not so hot. The idea of high-tech/internet reputation destruction was pretty interesting, though. Not bad. Not sure whether or not I'd read more by him. This was an ARC I got at Redbery Books on the retreat.
