really liked it
bookshelves: historical-fiction

Historical fiction. Peter is taken from his polish home after both his parents are killed in an auto accident. Peter and his family had moved to Poland from germany to take over a family farm. Peter was a perfect Nordic German with blue eyes and blond hair....this is his story about retry ing to Germany living under the nazi regime.

I like it because while the horrors of nazi tests and camps were discussed, it was written in a way I think younger readers can handle.
