The powerful Lucinda and the pale Oscar - what amazing creations! the contrast between desperately narrow minded Devon and the extraordinary Australian world was stunning. Lucinda's glass factory is a stroke of genius and the story grips from beginning to end. A pity that the end was a bit too theatrical. the glass church is a wonderful creation but could have ended more tragically in my opinion. <br/><br/><a href="http://www.goodreads.com/review/list/1001705?utm_medium=api&utm_source=blog_review">View all my reviews.</a>
