What a brilliantly beautiful story! One of my top faves from this series. I loved that there wasn't drama simply for drama's sake, but honest-to-gooodness character building life experiences that had this pair knocking each other out and later, sharing their love. Their family issues are those I can relate to and my heart broke for them both and made me grateful that they each had the other to lean on. Their love scene was so sweetly innocent without being cheesy. It's one thing to read a scorchingly hot sex scene, but a completely different one altogether when you almost have to read a scene such as this through your fingers because you almost feel like you're intruding on something precious and private. When sex is usually written, more often than not, with the intent to arouse, it's a breath of fresh air to read a love scene that further fleshes (heh) out the characters and gives them an additional dimension.

A remarkable love story that's gonna stick with me for a while :)
