An excellent companion book to "Patriots" which weaves into that novel in a fast reading cleaver story .
Said to be "Number Two" in an eventual simultaneous trilogy (parallel rather in-series books) Rawles hits on some sharp emotions for anyone who has ever served, lived in places he sets his story in, has studied economics or is a concern preparedness minded citizen.
Characters with high moral values, solid unflinching abilities and faith, are so welcome in a read.
You'll have to try hard not enjoy this novel!
