it was amazing
bookshelves: fiction-2009
Read in February, 2009

Great stuff. Cold, bleak, isolated and very very tightly written.

I felt so tense reading this, I made myself slow down, linger over every word, relish every description. At times I felt I was there, with the character, far more than I wanted to be.

I wouldn't have expected to enjoy a dead dog novel as much as I did. Donovan seemed to genuinely connect with the mentality of an unusual thinker, and help us to connect too.
