** spoiler alert ** People from various classes in Buenos Aires win a lottery to take a 3-4 month cruise. The passengers can't go to the back of the boat, supposedly because of 2 cases of typhus among the crew but when several of the male passengers force their way to the stern to find the ship's doctor and one man is killed by the radio operator the offivials say that the man died of typhus and all the passengers are sent home and forced to sign a statement to the effect that they agree with the official story.
