I think I would have liked this one better had the POV not changed with every chapter, each one with a different witch. It didn't help that often the chapters were less than 5 pages long.
I got tired of Ingrid and her issues with Matt. For someone as old as she is, she kept acting like a teen with her first boyfriend. Matt wasn't much better as any issue that came up each ended up stomping away in a huff.
Joanna was annoying with her bubble-headedness. She is the supposed head of family, yet she kept ignoring what was right in front of her face. Then her reaction when Freddie came back, it turned my stomach.
Freddie, well where to start with him...he is one of the biggest chumps I have come across. I couldn't believe when he signed the contract without reading it. He deserved what he got, but even that didn't turn out like I thought.
Freya's actions confused me. She loved Killian, but let Freddie's words made her doubt him. I also hated that she was keeping so much hidden, all it did was drive her nuts.
With the ending the way it was I worry about certain characters, it really doesn't look good for them.
