I love sandwiches and it's obvious the writers of this book do too. I haven't had the chance to try many of the recipes yet. These sandwiches are typically pretty upscale but sound delicious. The condiments such as pickled mustard also sound like fun to experiment with. [return][return]The book is a little short for the price, but I think if you could nab it on sale it would be worth it. It's mostly focused on recipes, but there are some occasional asides like trying to match bread with the type of sandwich. It would have been nice to see a little bit more of that, but I'm one who's interested in techniques. Some of the sandwiches contain just a little too many ingredients for those of us who are stuck out in the middle of nowhere, so it would have been nice to have a little more advice on substitutions. I wouldn't mind doing the research though to find substitutions.
