I enjoyed the first half of Jane Lynch's autobiography where she talks about her struggles in life, trying to find herself and her coping mechanism. She talks candidly about identifying as a lesbian, her unhappiness, and alcoholism. I was moved by her commitment to making a better life for herself, determined to get clean and follow her dreams.
The second half focused on her acting career, where I felt the book started to lack an emotional connection. It followed a constant "I was in X performance where I worked with X director and X actors" that got a little redundant after a while. I did enjoy hearing about her experiences with Glee, but that had very minimal presence overall.
