For all you historical fiction lovers, this is a great read. Set in the time of Henry II, the author does a good job of showing the times and how difficult or impossible it was for women in general but also for women in specific occupations. Adelia is a medieval CSI expert, clever and inventive, she finds a way to circumvent the customs of the day. There is also a sequel to the book titled The Serpent's Tale which is also very good. I can't wail till the 3rd book comes out.
