really liked it
bookshelves: alpha-male, murder, paranormal, series, spitfire, torture, violence, urban-fantasy, vampire

Not being a big fan of urban paranormals, have to say I must have been in the mood for something very different to lose myself in when I picked this up. Let's not forget it was only a buck.

This book is #5 in a series, so I jumped right into the middle with this one. I won't read anymore unless I trip over one in the 2nd hand store again. But I did enjoy it and found it entertaining with all the odd ball characters thrown in the mix...vampires, werewolves, imps, witches, you name it.

Reminded me of J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brothers, but I liked this one more. (Except for Butch's story.)

Constant action, with a spitfire uber alpha heroine. Super uber alpha Vamp Hero who is Super scarred inside and out. Throw a little Feehan in the mix with 'finding their Life Mate" and yep, you have here pieces of the best of the best Urban Paranormals everyone seems to loveeeee.

I've had my fun vacation, now I'm ready to jump with all four feet right back into a good old bodice rippin read.
