Recommended for: anyone who cares more for scandalous plot than factual history

I don't care much about the accuracy of historical facts in novels. Therefore, the book was highly enjoyed! I actually had a couple of days where I did not want to put it down. Very scandalous and a little psychologically interesting. The love story was well done in the end.

It was nothing like the movie, which became a story about Ann and NOT her sister Mary, contrary to the title.
