This is a story about two twin brothers who become doctors who live in Ethiopia. Their mother dies in childbirth and father disappears. Raised by Hema and Ghosh, Marion, Shira, and Genet(Marion's love) grow up together. They all aspire to be doctors but as life goes---plans do go astray. I felt the book was too long and I did not like all the medical terms and descriptions.
