Max wears his wolf suit and gets himself in trouble. He is sent to bed without dinner, and his room becomes a forest. He then sails to the land of the wild things. Since he is the most ferocious, he is made king, and they all behave as wild things. A story about a boy who can escape to another world, only to realize that he belongs where he is loved, not feared. It is sweet and fun, with beautiful illustrations to tell the tale.
