The world changes, all technology shuts down and rotten evil dogs appear and yes, once bitten, you change or dye changing. Mason, having been kind of adopted by Jenna's prophetic father, knew it would happen, and had been preparing for it. He kidnaps Jenna, saving her, and their adventure begins.

This novel reminded me of Resident Evil, only with zombie-dogs instead of human zombies. It's full of action and it kept turning me the pages. But its characters weren't very compelling to me (with the exception of True), and I couldn't see why they were so attracted to each other. Jenna’s and Mason’s change of attitude towards others left me quite cold (so if Mason changes, will he lack of solidarity?). Sometimes you were reading and asking yourself "Really? Come on, get real", like when they kiss surrounded by the rotten evil dogs (no comments).

However, it was entertaining, and I will read the sequels (at least the next one).
