I really wanted to like this book. Obviously I like the title. :-) But both Frank and I really like Frank Lloyd Wright and someday we hope our house will be arts and crafts-like. So I wanted to read a little bit about his affair and get some more insight into something -- his design, him as a person...something. But with each chapter, this book left me wishing it was different.

Normally books that are told from the lesser-known point of view are really interesting to me. But in this case, I just didn't have that reaction. I also don't know enough about him, her, or them to separate fact from fiction.

I will say that the ending caught me completely by surprise. I didn't know about what happened to Mamah (his partner / mistress) so it caught me off guard.

I guess ultimately I wouldn't really recommend this book...
