Enjoyed the writing and the world Harris created in print in contrast to the show.

Lori Are you going to read the others? I actually listened to like 6 of them on audio book during commute. The woman who does the voice of Sookie is really funny. Much better than Anna Paquin, I think!

Jennifer I don't know if I'm invested enough to keep reading the series , especially since it doesnt have an end date. That's one of the main reasons I stopped reading Evanovich's books. I like series that end. I did like how fast it went in the reading. I should look into the audio versions.

Lori I'm kind of the same about series too, so I stopped at #6 Sookie bookie. I am reading Song of Ice and Fire right now and they take a long time for me. Mainly, I like to digest them and get absorbed in that world, and they're super long. I've heard that books 4 and 5 aren't great, but I am madly love with some of the characters...

Heather I'm going to be looking for audio books once i'm in LA driving / commuting, so this series and some of the other mysteries are probably good audio options. I'll have to find a good audio subscription service...

Lori Heather, the library isn't bad option for audio books. And if your car still has a CD deck like mine (that I never use), you can just check those out of library.
