it was amazing
bookshelves: really-liked
Read in January, 2008

Couldn't put it down. Well written and educational. It shows how the whims of three or four naive, racist and self-centred, but powerful men shaped the world after WWI and set up the dominos that led directly to the start of WWII and the shape of the world since. It helps to have a bit of knowledge of the geo-political and historical makeup of the world at the time. I've been trying unsuccessfully to find a book that compares to it.
