I loved this book when I read it.
It is a biography of a man who was born in India (Goa) and who, throughout his life, because of being the son of a Father who worked in different corners of the world, and also because he became a Navy Officer later on, lived and was posted in many different continents.

The book describes the youth years with candor and a hint of magic, at the same time as it heralds the strong colors and scent of the far East.
Later in life, living in Macau gives yet a different perspective of the characteristics of Asia for westerners.

A good read!
