Reviewed by Joe: I have to admit when I picked Transgressions I had no clue what it would be about. I actually thought it might have been a transgender story, when I started reading I was pleasantly surprised. This is a must have read for any fan of fantasy and hot m/m love. The characters are interesting, the story is great and the sex scenes are hot; make sure you have something cold to drink while you read this one. There is a lot of passion in the scenes and one feels like a voyeur as you read. Ms. Sirene paints such a vivid picture that I dare anyone to read her words and not be instantly aroused. The dialogue was crisp, sharp and distinct. It’s always nice to read something by an author who knows how to write distinct dialogue. That’s a real talent and I will definitely be on the lookout for more of her work.

As a huge fantasy I couldn’t put this one down and I was sad when it ended. I wanted to know more. That’s my only complete, it’s a very quick read-only forty-one pages. I am hoping that Ms. Sirene continues the story of Aiden and Keith as I want to know more about them and the fascinating world she has created. If she expands the story into a full length novel, I could see this becoming a great fantasy series like The Mists of Avalon or Lord Of The Rings. Also, a huge gamer, I thought this would make a very interesting video game. Maybe it’s because I’ve been on a BloodRayne and Mortal Kombat kick as of late but as I was reading I was envisioning how all of us gamers, and gaymers, would flock to buy this and add it to our PS3 and X-Box libraries.
