I thought this would be a nice complement to the Booth brothers biography I read before. I was right except for the fact that I wanted to stab the author with something dull for his sanctimoniousness through the book. Example-him saying that Booths spirit was present when the Ku Klux Klan started appearing during Reconstruction and when King got shot because he was a racist when alive. I just couldn't take it. Otherwise I thought the history was quite interesting, to see the aftermath of this event that rocked the nation.
