I'm giving this one only four stars because it didn't absorb my attention quite like volumes 1-3 did. I really liked it, and it moved the storyline along, but it took me until maybe halfway through to really feel hooked. The discovery of some of the new keys and what they did felt rushed compared to earlier installments, and that disappointed me a bit. Still, overall this is a 5 star series. I *love* Locke & Key. The characterization is fabulous. The storyline is engrossing. The art is awesome. There are parts that are truly creepy and startling which is difficult to achieve with books (for me, anyway). I'm honestly quite sad that only 1/3 of the run is left to be published (I always wait for the compilations). Volume 1 of Locke & Key was my first ever graphic novel, and while there have been many more since, it's still one of my favorites.
