Last month I read another book by this author. This was her first novel. Much shorter. Plus, last year I watched a holiday movie based on this book. There are two stories here, two separate families, and by coincidence there is a chance encounter connecting them.
As the story progresses, death touches each household. The aftermath is the best part. We see how each family handles their holiday celebrations.
These are stories of faith. Very nice.
