Introduction standard "welcome to the book" type intro. All the stories are themed around home improvement in one way or another
If I Had a Hammer by Charlaine Harris A new Sookie story (or at least one I hadn't heard) -- a basic haunted house type story. It was good
Wizard Home Security by Victor Gischler You get what you pay for. A story of a scammer getting his just desserts
Gray by Patricia Briggs I really liked this story a lot. The story of Elyna and her man Jack. Very enjoyable vampire tale
Squatter's Rights by Rochelle Krich a dark ghost story -- a true horror story about Jewish demons who are driving our heroine crazy
Blood on the Wall by Heather Graham a home isn't always a house. I liked this story of cults and vampires
a creepy haunted house story. Not sure if I liked it or not though
The Strength Inside by Melissa Marr A story about a HOA getting what is due them. My HOA isn't too bad, but I have heard stories of HOAs that have let the power go to their heads
Woosley's Kitchen Nightmare by E.E. Knight funny. This story was all right. A bit of bigotry and snobism can be a bad thing
Through this House by Seanan McGuire UG. The writing was bad, the story was okay, but it repeated itself and had to describe TOO many different types of faery -- DID NOT LIKE
The Path by S.J. Rozan the story was entertaining enough but the telling of it got old, not sure if it was the writing or the reading, in either case glad its over
Rick the Brave by Stacia Kane - this was kind of a cute story. I was hoping Rick the Brave would get the girl, but alas...at least he got some $$
Full-Scale Demolition by Suzanne McLeod ahhhh, Tavish. I would so like to read more about this man -- the story itself was entertaining, and I liked it.
It's All in the Rendering by Simon R. Green - This would have been better in a longer format I think. It created a big problem, and then solved it in a second...it was an okay story
In Brightest Day by Toni L. P. Kelner - in Darkest Night...yeah, I liked this story. I would read more about Dodie the houngan (i will admit to being a little annoyed at first as she described the houngan world...but eventually - the story got past the details)
